CLAMSHELL OR SLATE tablet pc for survey use?
For touch screen survey use a slate type tablet PC has the advantage of lesser weight and higher degree of mobility. It goes without saying, at times the lack of a keyboard and mouse has its disadvantages, too, although tablet PCs are especially well prepared for this event (ink feature; on-screen keyboard).
We recommend to base a purchase decision on a variety of factors:

- Battery life without recharging
- Ability to hot-swap batteries
